Ashley Hicklin is Pop Idol's number one!

Following graduate Ashley Hicklin's (BA Music) publishing deal with EMI, Ashley has been in Belgium writing songs for Pop Idol and The Berlin World Championship Athletics.
Ashley commented "Since I signed with EMI I've been doing really well writing songs for other artists, especially Pop Idol artists. I'm about to get my first number one single and platinum record in Sweden with an artist called Johan Palm."
Alongside spending his time song writing for EMI, Ashley is also working on his own album. He is working with producer Franz Plasa who has worked with artists such as One Republic, Mariah Carey and Lauren Hill, to name a few. Ashley said "We're taking my own project as an artist one step at a time and not rushing it!"
